Job description

Extremely fast paced Landlord/Tenant Law and Civil Litigation Firm on Upper East Side seeking an admitted attorney. Must be enthusiastic/high energy individual with professional communication skills and strong desire to be in court everyday to learn how to be a lawyer. Candidate will be required to:
Answer calendar calls, argue motions with the goal of handling trials and inquests;
Draft pleadings, motions, opposition papers, memorandums of law and appeals;
Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation/discovery with goal of handling trials;
Heavy Data entry, research and preparation of legal documents;
Handle all phases of Landlord/Tenant and Civil/Supreme matters;
Assist with other projects as needed
The ideal candidate will be a self starter able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and have Microsoft Word and Outlook experience.
