Job description

Job Summary
The Global Real Estate team is working hard on the double again strategy through opening new stores, relocations, and optimization of existing network. As a member of the Global Real Estate team, you will be instrumental in supporting these goals through managing third party firms, projects and process. You will be contributing insights to aid decision-making and improving processes to help things get done more efficiently. You will be holding all stakeholders accountable to deadlines.
We are looking for someone with strong project management stills and a sense of urgency and ability to hold firms accountable to process, speed and quality. The person must be process oriented, and willing to get things done. Someone who is interested in looking for new ways to improve process.
There are a lot of touch points to permit and entitle a project as outlined in the attached. This position manages those how are responsible for meeting the deadlines to obtain permits to deliver to construction. The PM firm that is hired by Circle K has been empowered through their agreements with Circle K to deliver projects on time, on budget and with the quality that Circle K expects.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring due diligence, lease contingencies and permitting processes and procedures
  • Responsible for delivering projects on time to the construction field team by ensuring all lease contingencies have been properly satisfied
  • Oversees External Project Managers and collaborates closely with members of the Circle K field teams
  • Accurately manages project pipeline utilizing our internal tools, spreadsheets and data base on a rolling 5 year basis
  • Work with the team to determine reporting needs related to project management
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements. Lead related trainings on a national level
  • Participate in quarterly accountability meetings and annual pipeline planning meetings
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Self directed and self-motivated problem solver, comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and continually prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as new projects are assigned.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years relevant work experience with Real Estate and Construction
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and ability to become proficient with additional software's and applications.
