Job description

Enterprise Mobility Account Executive

Location: Virginia Beach, VA (On-site preferred | Remote considered for top performers)
Base Salary: $75,000 Base + Uncapped Commission

About Us

DAO Emerging Technologies, Inc. (โ€œDAO Groupโ€) is an established technology solutions provider with over 30 years of success helping organizations improve operations through innovative systems and services.

While weโ€™ve historically focused on the Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD) market, Enterprise Mobility is now a strategic growth initiative โ€” and we are investing in a dedicated sales professional to expand our footprint.

We partner with industry-leading manufacturers and service providers including Honeywell, Datalogic, Brother Mobile, Zebra, and SOTI to deliver solutions that power todayโ€™s mobile workforce across multiple industries.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a true hunter โ€” a driven, high-energy sales professional who thrives on building sales pipelines, creating net-new opportunities, and winning new logos.

This is not a typical account management role. This is a growth role. You will have the autonomy to build your territory, develop strategy, and directly influence the direction of our Enterprise Mobility practice.

If youโ€™re motivated by performance, ownership, and uncapped earnings, this is your seat at the table.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Prospect and develop new business across multiple verticals, with an initial focus on Transportation & Logistics (including warehousing/distribution)
  • Build relationships with senior leaders and executive decision-makers
  • Generate and manage your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
  • Lead full-cycle consultative sales engagements from discovery through close
  • Represent DAO Group at trade shows and customer events as needed
  • Identify market opportunities and contribute to go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to deliver successful customer outcomes

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience in Enterprise Mobility, barcode/data capture, rugged devices, mobile printing, or MDM solutions
  • Proven success selling to senior management and executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong outbound prospecting and cold-calling skill
  • Entrepreneurial mindset โ€” comfortable building something, not inheriting it
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Virginia Beach, VA area (remote flexibility for the right candidate)
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows and client meetings

Preferred Experience

  • Direct experience with Datalogic, Honeywell, Brother, Zebra, or SOTI solutions
  • Experience in Transportation & Logistics (including warehousing/distribution) vertical
  • Existing industry relationships within mobility, logistics, or field operations
  • 7+ years of advanced B2B sales experience, including complex solution selling, multi-department buying cycles, and executive-level negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success closing larger, strategic accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $75,000
  • Uncapped commission
  • Performance accelerators for exceeding targets
  • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision)
  • Company holidays
  • Company-matched retirement (IRA)

Why Join Us

  • 30+ year established and stable company
  • Backed by top-tier manufacturer partnerships
  • Small, agile team with direct access to leadership.
  • Real ownership and visibility.
  • No corporate red tape.
  • Ability to shape and grow a strategic business unit.
  • High-income potential for true producers.

This role is ideal for a motivated producer who wants the freedom to hunt, close, and directly control their earning potential โ€” without layers of bureaucracy slowing them
