Job description

Description

The Clinical Enrichment Program (CEP) is for nursing students enrolled in their final year of an accredited nursing program.


The HRMC Clinical Enrichment Program (CEP) offers nursing students in their last year of school the opportunity to apply the knowledge they've gained in hands-on clinical experiences. This program is designed to assist students financially, and provide a community hospital experience that helps students build confidence along with critical thinking, prioritizing and time management skills in a supportive and nurturing hospital environment. 


This six-week program provides 160 hours of direct patient care, mentored by an experienced nurse throughout each shift to learn about the care and services provided throughout a typical day, as well as observation in two specialty care areas and the opportunity to work on an evidenced-based project team.

Requirements

To apply for the program, the student will need to complete a job application and provide the following information:

  • Proof of enrollment in final year of accredited nursing program
  • Documentation of an cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
  • Proof of your skills from nursing program
  • Two letters of reference, one of which needs to be from a nursing instructor
