Job description

Test Engineering Manager

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Test Engineering Manager. This role integrates developmental and operational test activities including laboratory, ground, and flight testing in support of weapon system programs within the Fighters & Advanced Aircraft community (Bombers Directorate and F-35 Program) directorate within AFLCMC.

This is a full-time position located on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) in Dayton, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage developmental and operational test activities.

• Develop and review test strategies, TEMP inputs, test plans, and test reports.

• Lead integration of test requirements with systems engineering and program management teams.

• Evaluate contractor test performance, data, and compliance with requirements.

• Support test scheduling, resource planning, and risk management.

• Brief senior leadership on test status, results, and issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must posses and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI eligibility

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

Years of Experience: Minimum 12 years of DoD test and evaluation experience

Additional Experience: Experience managing complex system or subsystem test programs
