Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the backlog list and facilitation of prioritization of outstanding work orders.
  • Assist in planning of work orders.
  • Environmental, safety, and asset record maintenance.
  • Develop a maintenance work schedule for the maintenance area supervisors/engineers with input from entire planning groups.
  • Develops and maintains planned job packages for recurring jobs including preventative maintenance generating and organizing daily packets.
  • Supports maintenance work planning.
  • EAM Integration knowledge and supports EAM programs.
  • Ensures completed schedules and work orders are returned promptly and all completed work orders are filled out correctly and entered in EAM.
  • Works with craftsperson/maintenance management when scoping work orders for parts or services needed to incomplete work orders. 
  • Ensure Safety needs are given top priority in work planning and scheduling.
  • Add, improve, changes the frequency of or deletes task instructions as needed to increase the overall effectiveness of the preventative maintenance program based on parts or services needed.
  • Develops and organizes work order backlogs for all planning groups. 
  • Distributes to team members on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinates asset request information for all misc. capital projects and any other equipment needing asset designation.
  • Organize and maintain all regulatory files.
  • Plan and manage maintenance safety programs.
  • Updates budget compliance information for team.
  • Perform other plan engineering tasks as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Good attendance.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Willingness to accept challenge.
  • Self-starter.
  • Trustworthy and must be able to work independently.
