We are seeking an experienced ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN to join our team!

The Engineering Technician supports the development and manufacture of custom transformers, inductors, and magnetic components. This role is responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, building prototypes, performing testing, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining technical documentation.


What You’ll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Build and modify prototype transformers, inductors, and magnetic assemblies.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing of prototypes and production samples.
  • Record test results and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Troubleshoot product and process issues and support corrective actions.
  • Assist Engineering and Production with new product development and process improvements.
  • Create and update work instructions, build records, and test reports.
  • Follow quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with electrical test equipment such as multimeters, LCR meters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with transformers, magnetics, or electronic manufacturing is preferred.
  • CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate empowerment, and take accountability for results.
