Job description

Overview & Responsibilities

The Donora Service Center is in search of a qualified manual machinist. The position requires off shifts availability, weekends and holidays. Occasional voluntary domestic travel opportunities to other Elliott locations.

To perform all the required layout, set-up, manual machining, subassembly, tool setting, deburring parts, broaching keyways, dimension checking, movement of parts materials and assemblies process.All shop machining works included but limited to the following: Machining rotors, Machining diaphragms, Machining seals, Machining disks, Machining Casings, and Grinding Shafts.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' experience in manual machining or related, manual equipment including but not limited to Horizontal Lathes, Vertical Lathes, Mills, Grinders, and Drill Presses. Will consider candidates with less years of experience.

  • CNC machining experience preferred, not required.

  • High school diploma, GED, or Trade School experience desired, not required.

  • Candidate must be willing & available to work off shifts, as well as flexibility to work weekends, holidays & overtime.
