About the Role

We are looking for a businessdriven professional with experience in encoders or industrial sensing technologies, able to combine technical understanding with customer engagement.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing new business opportunities with OEM customers, supporting the growth of SKF's sensing-enabled solutions, including encoder technologies.

Joining this team means being part of a fastevolving, entrepreneurial environment within a global industrial leader, where you can directly contribute to building the next generation of solutions and customer partnerships.

Your Mission

Your mission is to identify, develop and win new customer projects in automation, robotics and motion control applications - by combining your technical background with a strong commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Develop new business opportunities with OEM customers in automation, robotics, machine tools and motion control
    • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, from early engagement to project closure
    • Understand customer needs, applications and architectures to position SKF solutions effectively
    • Contribute to account strategies in collaboration with regional Sales teams
  • Customer Engagement
    • Interact with both engineering and commercial stakeholders
    • Support technical discussions and solution positioning (with support from internal experts when needed)
    • Build trusted relationships with customers and partners
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Work closely with Sales, Product Management and Engineering teams
    • Provide market feedback to support product development and business strategy
    • Contribute to the promotion of SKF's sensing and encoder solutions internally and externally

Profile

  • Required Experience
    • Experience in encoders, industrial sensors, or motion control technologies
    • Exposure to OEM customers in automation, robotics, or industrial applications
    • Ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders
