Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community-based immunization program. The selected candidate will provide safe, efficient, and high-quality vaccination services while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.

The RN will administer a variety of immunizations, educate patients, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer immunizations including, but not limited to:
    • Influenza (Flu)
    • COVID-19
    • MMR
    • Other CDC-recommended vaccines
  • Assess patients prior to vaccine administration and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Provide education regarding vaccine benefits, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with clinical protocols.
  • Deliver safe medication administration while adhering to infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  • Adapt to changing clinic demands and support daily operational needs.
  • Foster a positive, patient-centered environment through professionalism, empathy, and teamwork.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration and direct patient care.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Flexibility to work assigned schedules based on business needs.
  • High School Diploma or GED (verification required).
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
