Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support a community-based immunization program. The RN will provide safe and efficient vaccination services to patients, including administration of influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended vaccines.

This is a patient-facing position requiring strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a community healthcare environment.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccines safely and accurately, including flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other immunizations.
  • Perform appropriate patient assessments prior to vaccination.
  • Follow established vaccination protocols, clinical guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Provide patient education regarding vaccines, potential reactions, and after-care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient and vaccination documentation.
  • Practice proper medication administration and infection-control procedures.
  • Follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements; PPE will be provided.
  • Monitor patients appropriately following vaccination and respond to any adverse reactions.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and team members.
  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect in every patient interaction.
  • Adapt to changing patient needs, schedules, and community healthcare demands.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Maintain flexibility with work hours as operational needs require.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, full, and unrestricted RN license in the state where services are provided.
  • Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and vaccination.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to administer vaccines to patients of various ages.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must not be listed on the applicable federal exclusion/debarment list.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, community healthcare setting.
  • Must be flexible with scheduled work hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an immunization clinic, retail healthcare, community health, occupational health, or similar patient-facing setting.
  • Experience administering multiple vaccine types.
  • Strong patient education and counseling skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation.

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
20 hours per week

The selected RN must be flexible with work hours based on program and patient-care needs.
