Job description

About the Role:

Motive's Enablement team plays a critical role in the strategic implementation of key business initiatives, ensuring our frontline teams are equipped to win. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Enablement Business Partner, to develop and execute enablement efforts across a portfolio of teams in our Downmarket business segment, with a primary focus on Networks teams and SDR.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for the qualification, design, delivery and measurement of impactful enablement interventions and resources that equip our GTM teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to exceed their goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales dynamics across direct and channel motions, experience in a quota-carrying role, and demonstrated success in enabling large, global teams to achieve measurable results.

What You'll Do:
  • Field Enablement Execution: Designs and implements enablement strategy aligned with Motive's global sales objectives. This includes adapting existing programs and creating new solutions to address the specific needs of the Networks and SDR teams.
  • Domain Expertise: Understanding and experience working with different sales motions (Direct vs Channel Sales) and different roles within a sales ecosystem (Business Development, Account Executives, Account Managers) and their unique needs to develop tailored enablement initiatives that directly connect to specific business goals.
  • Proactive Field Intelligence: Collect and synthesize field intelligence through call listening, individual and small group interviews with reps, conversational intelligence, and partnership with teams such as AI Operations and QA. Leverage insights to refine enablement solutions and recommend interventions that close gaps or multiply successes.
  • Peer Collaboration: Partner closely with a team of global enablement professionals, including peers who support Downmarket field enablement, fostering collaborative relationships, resource sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Program Management & Execution: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enablement initiatives, ensuring effective planning, documentation, execution, and measurement of work.
  • AI Solution Development: Create new enablement solutions and adapt existing resources as needed for your segment, including AI tools, sales playbooks, product updates, competitive intelligence, and best practices for upselling/cross-selling, ensuring relevance and accuracy to the sales motion.
  • Coaching & Facilitation: Leads large-scale live training and small-group coaching sessions with high-energy, authenticity, and a positive spirit. We're looking for someone who can go beyond a slide deck and create an engaging, interactive, and motivating environment for GTM teams.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales enablement or a related role within a high-growth, B2B SaaS organization, with a strong preference for experience in international markets.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling enablement programs across multiple organizations and regions.
  • Experience building enablement solutions with AI technology (e.g., Glean, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
  • Certified in at least one sales methodology (e.g., Challenger Sale, Force Management, Solution Selling, Value Selling)
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, with the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences for a global audience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, across different cultures.
  • Demonstrated history of customer-first, results-orientation, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools used by global teams
