Job description

As the Field Enablement Leader to AWS Specialists & Partners (ASP), this role operates as the strategic enablement partner delivering data-driven insights, proactive consultation, and high-velocity execution to drive measurable business impact across one of AWS's highest-leverage organizations.
The role serves as a trusted advisor to ASP Leaders and Field Enablement leadership by establishing high-trust relationships through strategic consultation and streamlined execution. The Field Enablement Leader operates at scale as an individual contributor with cross-functional global remit within a highly matrixed environment.
The Field Enablement Lead drives the end-to-end enablement journey and operates as the connective tissue between global field enablement strategy and ASP execution, translating partner co-sell priorities and role-based excellence frameworks into enablement that drives revenue acceleration through partners. The objective is to accelerate field time-to-productivity, sustain field performance, and drive measurable shifts in how partners are engaged across diverse sales motions worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Advisory
• Build and maintain high-trust relationships with ASP stakeholder, matrixed field leadership, and enablement counterparts worldwide
• Provide forward-looking guidance and proactively align enablement initiatives with business priorities

• Bring a customer-centric, strategic lens to every engagement, ensuring the AWS field is equipped to win
Business Acumen & Requirements Mapping
• Maintain deep understanding of ASP's unique priorities, challenges, and opportunities across geographies and map to field requirements to inform enablement strategy and solutions
• Conduct ongoing gap analysis across AWS field to identify readiness gaps and prioritize initiatives
• Analyze field performance data using relevant KPIs (ramp time, pipeline contribution, win rates) and inspection mechanisms to identify performance gaps
• Translate insights into actionable enablement recommendations for leadership
Enablement Strategy & Roadmap
• Translate business priorities and customer requirements into cohesive sales productivity and readiness plans
• Own execution end-to-end across matrixed functions and stakeholders

• Establish clear success criteria for all enablement and productivity initiatives
Global-Local Alignment & Program Execution
• Translate global enablement priorities into locally relevant strategies across ASP and field geographies
• Collaborate with specialized Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to tailor, activate, and enhance enablement initiatives
• Secure senior leadership commitment and drive adoption of prioritized initiatives
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, from presenting readiness roadmaps to senior leadership to building assets that support the field when closing opportunities
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Mobilize cross-functional teams (Partner/Co-Sell Programs, Product, Marketing, Sales Ops, CoEs) from concept to launch, leading through influence as opposed to direct authority
• Establish clear RACI frameworks to drive execution and serve as primary conduit between ASP and the field
• Partner closely with ASP & Field Enablement teams to ensure visibility and alignment across the business
Measurement & Reporting
• Define and implement success metrics that measure program adoption, field behavior change, and business impact (e.g., ramp time, pipeline contribution, win rates)
• Monitor and track progress through established mechanisms
• Deliver crisp, impact-focused reporting to stakeholders on regular cadence
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
• Gather continuous field feedback to identify barriers
• Invent and simplify solutions that remove friction
• Leverage tools and technology (LMS, sales engagement platforms) to drive scalability and ease of adoption
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance enablement delivery and field productivity
A day in the life
