We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our corporate team at our Dallas headquarters, located near downtown at The Epic. In this highly visible role, you will support a portfolio of properties and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, driving HR initiatives that strengthen engagement, performance, and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for a portfolio of properties supporting approximately 400 employees
  • Provide proactive, solutions-oriented HR guidance to managers and employees at all levels
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture while strengthening employee relations
  • Interpret and communicate company policies, procedures, and employment practices
  • Partner with leadership to develop and maintain accurate job descriptions and performance expectations
  • Support managers in employee counseling, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Mediate employee relations matters and facilitate effective conflict resolution
  • Conduct thorough and timely investigations into employee concerns and complaints
  • Manage unemployment claims and represent the company in hearings
  • Handle EEOC claims and assist with employment-related litigation matters
  • Train and coach managers on HR best practices and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and respond to employee feedback on social platforms as appropriate

Work Days/Hours

Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources or closely related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a 300+ employee environment
  • At least 3 years of direct experience managing employee relations matters, including investigations, unemployment claims, and legal/compliance issues
  • Experience supporting multi-state, multi-site operations with strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organizational goals
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills
Additional Requirements
