Program Manager
Job Type: Contract (7-month)
Location: Denver, CO
Work Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Rate: $70 - $80 per hour based upon experience
Position Summary
Unison Systems is looking for a skilled Program Manager for our client located in Greenwood Village, CO. In this role, you will lead a collection of work-including epics, projects, and programs-while understanding the holistic business outcome to establish, organize, and direct individual projects within your domain. You will serve as a key liaison across departments such as IT, Digital Platforms, Customer Operations, and Sales Support, communicating program status, timelines, and risks to relevant teams and leadership. This is an excellent opportunity to join a new team and make an impact in a marketing-focused, wireless telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the defined scope, schedule, cost, and quality of one or more programs in alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain an understanding of how underlying project or program success factors relate to the broader program and drive business results.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on status, dependencies, risks, and accomplishments to ensure successful delivery of the entire solution.
  • Ensure technology requests, projects, and programs follow established technology governance policies and processes.
  • Assist with rationalization of the project and program portfolio.
  • Participate in the creation and communication of standardized Portfolio Management best practices and processes.
  • Advocate for process improvements and collaborate with other Digital Sales units.
  • Provide updates to the weekly Program Management dashboard for leadership.
  • Escalate and mitigate project and program risks to Digital Sales Leadership.
  • Work in conjunction with Product Managers and Solution Architects, ensuring they are involved in the appropriate phases of the project or program.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years interfacing with application teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including delegation and prioritization.
  • Experience with Agile tools and methodologies, program management, roadmap creation, change management, and portfolio management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with a can-do attitude, diplomatic approach, and confidence around peers and leadership.
  • Ability to establish rapport, define expectations, and gain commitment to project goals and deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and independently while making decisions and solving problems collaboratively under pressure.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and software applications.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
  • Experience leading marketing program management initiatives.
  • Background working in a wireless or telecommunications environment.
  • Experience developing and communicating program management strategy and communications strategy.
