Job description

The Culture & Employee Communications Manager shapes and amplifies the employee experience by designing and executing high-impact communication strategies that strengthen culture, elevate leadership visibility, drive engagement, and foster organizational alignment across a global transportation and logistics enterprise. Serving as both a trusted strategic advisor and skilled storyteller, this role translates complex business priorities into clear, compelling narratives that inspire trust, reinforce company values, support transformational change, and connect employees across regions, functions, and levels of the organization.
Scope of the Role
  • Serve as a strategic communications advisor to executive leadership, driving organizational alignment, leadership visibility, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and execute executive and enterprise communication strategies that support business goals, strengthen culture, and inspire action.
  • Create and deliver impactful communications, including leadership messaging, presentations, Town Halls, strategic updates, and executive briefings.
  • Lead internal communications programs, governance, and channel strategies to ensure consistent, effective communication across the organization.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Organizational Development to assess employee sentiment and advance engagement, culture, and employer brand initiatives.
  • Lead communication strategies for organizational change, including acquisitions, transformations, restructures, and major business initiatives.
  • Oversee communication channels, measure effectiveness through analytics and KPIs, and provide recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
  • Lead crisis and operational communications while modeling and promoting ATS Mission, Vision, Values, and All-Employee Competencies.

Skillset for Success

  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • 8+ years of progressive communications experience, including executive communications, internal communications, and organizational change communications.
  • Proven success partnering with senior leaders to develop strategic messaging that aligns employees with business objectives, culture, and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading communications for complex organizational change, including acquisitions, restructures, technology implementations, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, consulting, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and inspire action.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a track record of managing multiple priorities, influencing cross-functional partners, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience communicating with diverse employee populations across multiple locations, functions, work environments, and geographies; transportation and logistics industry experience preferred.
  • Data-driven communicator with experience measuring engagement and communication effectiveness through analytics, surveys, and KPIs; proficient in Microsoft Office and committed to ATS values, with occasional travel as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation will be market-competitive and aligned with the scope and impact of the role. Candidates meeting the position qualifications, compensation details will be discussed openly during the screening process, base salary range for this role is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00; base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
