Job information
This is an Associate role on LGT Capital Partners' dedicated Secondaries Team.
The team is mainly investing out of a $7.4 billion investment fund called Crown Global Secondaries VI, but also investing on behalf of mandate pockets, comingled Fund-of-Funds products, and a single asset secondaries fund as well.
  • The secondary strategy of LGT CP focuses on LP-led as well as GP-led transactions across Buyout, Growth and VC

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Intake, screening, and logging of incoming opportunities
  • Initial diligence and information collection
  • Secondary fund pricing, including understanding and analyzing company valuation inputs
  • Exposure to both GP-led and LP-led transactions
  • Heavy emphasis on information management, data interpretation, and pattern recognition
  • Reviewing and analyzing economic data/developments/trends to prepare diverse documents detailing the results of performed research;
  • Conducting research and analysis in Private Equity
  • Conducting research and analysis on structural and cyclical topics with a focus on emerging markets and environmental economics.
  • Creating content and documents (e.g., charts, slides, etc.) on macro/ market views and multi-asset positioning

Ideal Candidate Profile/Qualifications
  • Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, or private investing preferred
  • Strong interest in private equity investing and secondaries
  • Strong interest in macroeconomics
  • Highly analytical with comfort managing large, complex datasets
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable taking ownership in a lean and collaborative environment
