Job description

Placement Type:
Temporary
Salary:
$35-40 Hourly
Start Date:
Jul 6, 2026
Aquent is seeking a detail-oriented, execution-focused Email Production & Marketing Operations Specialist to provide seamless maternity leave coverage for a prominent biotechnology client.
In this role, you will act as the engine behind our digital outreach campaigns, responsible for the end-to-end building, testing, and deployment of high-quality marketing emails. Operating within a highly regulated biotech environment, you will bridge the gap between creative assets and technical execution, ensuring all digital deployments are error-free, compliant, and perfectly aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Email Production & Deployment: Build, QA, test, and deploy marketing email campaigns natively within the Marketo platform, ensuring perfect rendering across all devices and email clients.
  • Asset Optimization: Utilize Adobe Photoshop to perform minor design adjustments, cropping, optimization, and asset preparation for email templates and digital campaigns.
  • Workflow & Project Tracking: Manage incoming requests, track project milestones, and update campaign statuses using Workfront to guarantee on-time delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a clear, proactive liaison between project managers, marketing stakeholders, and technical teams to communicate project status and surface resourcing needs.
  • Rigorous Quality Assurance: Maintain absolute attention to detail during the QA process to ensure all hyperlinks, tracking codes, and clinical/marketing copy are completely error-free before final deployment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Platform Expertise: 1-3+ years of direct, hands-on experience building, segmenting, and deploying marketing email campaigns specifically using Marketo.
  • Design Basics: Functional competency in Adobe Photoshop for basic image editing, slicing, and template asset adjustments.
  • Project Management Tooling: Proven experience navigating enterprise workflow management systems, with a strong preference for Workfront (or similar tools).
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical campaign timelines clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional Focus: A meticulous eye for detail, particularly regarding regulatory compliance, formatting, and proofreading.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Technical Coding: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor email template troubleshooting and code tweaks.
  • Industry Domain: Previous experience working within a life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare marketing environment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
