HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...As an Electrical Maintenance Technician (EM Tech) Level 6, you will be a critical technical resource responsible for advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement activities within a high-speed manufacturing environment. You will lead maintenance initiatives, support equipment uptime, ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead maintenance activities for assigned manufacturing lines.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical and mechanical equipment issues.

  • Evaluate line performance and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

  • Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Maintain and update equipment maintenance records and documentation within SAP and other maintenance systems.

  • Collaborate with Planning and Operations teams to prioritize work, schedule repairs, and secure required materials and resources.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities, assign work based on technician skill levels, and support successful completion of tasks.

  • Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.

  • Support troubleshooting of AC/DC electrical systems, power distribution systems, and manufacturing equipment.

  • Participate in root cause analysis investigations and A3 problem-solving activities related to safety, quality, and reliability.

  • Communicate maintenance issues, equipment failures, and critical information during shift transitions.

  • Partner with the PIT Crew and Training Department to coordinate technical training and employee development opportunities.

  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and technical programs, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Electrical Safety, Arc Flash, and National Electrical Code requirements.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other plant projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Advanced electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated understanding of:

    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

    • Electrical Safety standards

    • Arc Flash requirements

    • National Electrical Code (NEC)

    • Basic OHM's Law principles

  • SAP Expert-Level proficiency.

  • Level 6 Electrical Skills certification or ability to meet Level 6 standards.

  • Minimum aggregate score of 58 or higher on hands-on and Ramsay assessments.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

  • Proficiency with electrical troubleshooting equipment, including VOMs, Meggers, and related diagnostic tools.

  • Working knowledge of:

    • AC/DC circuits

    • 120V/480V electrical systems

    • Low-voltage circuits

    • Three-phase power distribution systems

    • Industrial electrical wiring practices

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to lead maintenance activities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Previous experience leading maintenance activities in a high-speed food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment.

  • Experience participating in reliability programs, root cause analysis, or A3 investigations.

  • Training, mentoring, or team leadership experience.

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities.

  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and manufacturing performance systems.

  • Experience coordinating maintenance planning and scheduling activities.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, downtime reduction strategies, and reliability improvement initiatives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, energized electrical systems, and moving machinery.

  • Requires strict adherence to safety procedures, including LOTO, Arc Flash, and electrical safety standards.

  • Ability to work extended shifts, overtime, and alternative schedules as needed.

  • Frequent interaction with production personnel and maintenance teams in a fast-paced operational setting.

COMPENSATION
  • Pay: $34.20 per hour

  • Shift Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:20 AM

  • Work Schedule: Alternative 4-3 rotating schedule

  • Location: 500 NW Loop 286 Paris, TX 75460

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
