Job description

About Sim
Sim is building the leading platform for AI agents-enabling developers and enterprises to visually create, launch, and manage high-performing agents that automate the world's workflows. Our mission is simple: agents will run the world, and Sim is the primary means by which that happens. We're backed by world-class investors including Standard Capital, Paul Graham, Perplexity, SV Angel, and Y Combinator, and we've been open source from day one.
We're a small, fast-moving team based in San Francisco, building together in person every day. 70,000+ developers use Sim; your work ships fast and impacts real users at scale. We believe in ownership, excellence, and ambitious builders shaping the future from the ground up.
About the Role
This is a foundational role: Sim is hiring our first GTM Engineer to build the company's go-to-market and RevOps infrastructure from the ground up. You won't just optimize existing workflows-you'll architect them. You'll partner directly with leadership to define, implement, and scale our GTM systems, automations, and data flows. If you want to operate as a technical founder for our GTM function and ship quickly with massive ownership, this role is for you.
You'll work full-time, in-person, out of our San Francisco office.
What You'll Do:
  • Build from zero: Create Sim's GTM infrastructure from scratch-integrating best-in-class tools like Salesforce, Clay, Gong, enrichment APIs, and more into a seamless automated engine
  • Invent internal automation: Design and build AI agents and custom workflows to automate account research, minimize manual tasks, and personalize outreach at scale
  • Engineer data flows: Architect the middleware and webhooks that ensure data integrity and sync between Sim's product, CRM, and internal systems
  • Programmatic GTM: Translate top-level GTM strategy into automated workflows, custom internal tools, and data-driven outbound campaigns
  • Found and scale: Set the technical standard and shape the DNA of Sim's GTM/Revenue Operations function for years to come
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, technical RevOps, or similar technical roles
  • Proficiency writing code (Python, JavaScript, or SQL) and familiarity working with APIs
  • Track record of integrating, automating, and scaling SaaS and AI tool stacks
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels, GTM business logic, and operations
  • Experience with modern GTM tools (Clay, Claude Code, Parallel, Unify, Sim, scraping/indexing the web, etc.)
  • High bias toward action and "shipping v1 today"-you thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced teams
  • Deep ownership mentality; you want end-to-end responsibility for Sim's GTM architecture and future team
Why Sim
  • Foundational impact: You'll build and define Sim's GTM infrastructure and shape how agents are sold, deployed, and supported
  • Immediate scale: Your work ships to 70,000+ developers and customers right now
  • World-class backers: Series A led by Standard Capital, with Paul Graham, Perplexity, SV Angel, and Y Combinator
  • Open source culture: 26,000+ GitHub stars and a passionate developer community
  • Competitive compensation: Competitive pay + meaningful equity
  • Full benefits: Comprehensive health insurance and relocation support
  • Visa sponsorship available
Equal Opportunity
