Senior Manager, Lease Accounting

DEPT/DIV:

Accounts Receivable Reconciliation and Processing

$121,295 - $128,424

This position is eligible for teleworking, which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective hire date.

Position Objective:

This role leads the preparation and review of monthly lease accounting reconciliations and journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Manager-Lease Accounting is responsible for overseeing the annual audit process related to lease accounting matters and developing and implementing lease accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly lease accounting reconciliations and journal entries
  • Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards and regulations
  • Oversee the annual audit process related to lease accounting matters
  • Develop and implement lease accounting policies and procedures
  • Analyze lease agreements for accounting implications and provide technical guidance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and integration of lease data
  • Monitor changes in lease accounting standards and update processes accordingly
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
  • May be required to work hours outside regular work hours, as applicable
  • Observes the work performed by contractors, as applicable
  • Reviews invoices and approves them if the work has contractual standards, as applicable
  • Addresses performance issues with the contractor when possible, as applicable
  • Escalates issues to other parties when needed, as applicable

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in accounting leadership positions and managerial and/or leadership roles
