Recruiter โ€“ Intern Program

Keen Search & Staffing is seeking a Recruiter to support a Fortune 500 company in Houston. This is an exciting opportunity for a recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, managing hiring processes, and creating a positive candidate experience.

Position Overview

The Recruiter will primarily be responsible for recruiting, coordinating, and managing the company's internship program from sourcing through onboarding. This role will partner closely with hiring managers, universities, and internal stakeholders to attract top student talent while ensuring a seamless recruiting experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for internship positions.
  • Source, screen, and interview qualified intern candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and internship requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, career centers, and student organizations.
  • Coordinate internship offers, onboarding, and orientation activities.
  • Track recruiting metrics and maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
  • Support intern engagement initiatives and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the internship program.
  • Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience while maintaining compliance with company hiring policies.
  • Assist with additional recruiting projects and talent acquisition initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably with campus recruiting or early career hiring.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional, collaborative, and service-oriented approach.
