Job Title: GBM – Operations – Securities Settlements – Analyst
Location: Salt Lake City (SLC)
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Securities Settlements Analyst to join the Global Banking & Markets (GBM) Operations team. In this role, you will support the settlement of securities transactions across the Americas, ensuring accurate and timely processing while minimizing operational risk. You will collaborate with internal business partners, clients, and external stakeholders to manage the full trade settlement lifecycle and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end securities settlement process across various asset classes.
- Develop a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle by working closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Legal, Compliance, and external counterparties.
- Review and process securities transfers and settlements accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure transaction details are complete, accurate, and processed within established deadlines.
- Identify operational risks, control gaps, and process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve settlement issues and minimize operational risk.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and client service.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in financial services, banking operations, securities settlements, trade support, or operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of securities settlement processes and the trade lifecycle is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
