Processing of all eligible securities through the DTCC processing system. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of the PTS (participant terminal service) system and all related functionality


DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: DTCC SETTLEMENTS SPECIALIST SENIOR ASSOCIATE DTCC SETTLEMENTS/BACK OFFICE SETTLEMENTS TEAM CANDIDATE WILL WORK WITHIN THE EXISTING DOMESTIC SETTLEMENTS TEAM AT METROPARK NEEDS TO HAVE SPECIFIC WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF DTCC PORTAL, ALL SETTLEMENTS FUNCTIONALITY MUST ALSO HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF TMPG CLAIMS PROCESSING
***** TMPG is the financial operational workflow used to calculate, issue, track, and settle monetary compensation claims for delivery failures in U.S. Treasury, agency debt, and agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS) markets.

TRADE PROCESSING- PROCESSING OF CASH TRADES (BUYS/SELLS) AND REPO TRANSACTIONS CLEARING THROUGH DTCC. PAIR-OFFS: MONITORING AND PROCESSING OF CUSTOMER PAIR-OFFS, INCLUDING CANCELLATION OF TRADES TRANSMITTED DTCC TO AFFECT PAIR-OFF WIRE PAYMENT.
SYSTEMS: KNOWLEDGE OF DTCC SYSTEM AND PROCESSING FUNCTIONS. FIS PHASE3 SYSTEM A PLUS INTERACTION: HIGH VOLUME PROCESSING AND KNOWLEDGE OF DEADLINES;
CONSTANT INTERACTION WITH MIDDLE OFFICE AND FRONT OFFICE TEAMS.
TASKS: Processing of all eligible securities through the DTCC processing system. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of the PTS (participant terminal service) system and all related functionality.
This includes the following: Settle securities transactions by processing deliver orders (DOs) Collect marks-to-market on open contracts and money differences by processing Securities Payment Orders (SPOs) Pledge securities to pledgees for collateral through the collateral loan system Pledge securities to the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) to meet OCC margin requirements Protect customer fully-paid-for positions and manage firm positions through the use of segregation and memo segregation procedures Call and confirm all pending and unmatched trades to ensure timely settlement.
