Position Overview

We are excited to invite a skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join the Compassion Elevated Therapy team in Clifton, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position plays a vital role in improving the quality of life for our patients through specialized physical therapy interventions. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to understand patient conditions and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Regularly document patient progress and treatment effectiveness in our electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain compliance and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and caregivers to ensure a well-rounded and coordinated treatment approach.
  • Utilize independent judgment to modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, while applying best practices in orthopedic care.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, which may include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will be critical in helping elderly clients maintain mobility, as well as supporting athletes in their recovery processes. Understanding the unique challenges facing each individual will allow you to deliver tailored and effective therapies.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's Degree or Doctorate from an accredited program.
  • Current and active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience, specifically in orthopedic settings, although experience in acute care and outpatient environments is also valued.
  • Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic assessment techniques, treatment methodologies, and patient care planning.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to facilitate effective patient interactions and teamwork.
Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have demonstrated proficiency in contemporary treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities tailored for orthopedic rehabilitation. Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and those with chronic pain conditions, will enhance your ability to contribute effectively in this role.
