Position Overview

Compassion Elevated Therapy is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our thriving rehabilitation center located in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite role allows you to utilize your expertise in physical therapy to significantly impact the lives of individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions and injuries. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities designed to provide optimal care for our patients. You will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, dedicated to delivering comprehensive care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while engaging in meaningful patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed and individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, to facilitate patient recovery and mobility.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient’s physical condition and progress, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including physicians and surgeons, to ensure seamless care and communication throughout the treatment process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to implement effective therapeutic interventions and monitor patient outcomes closely.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation protocols and exercises to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Stay updated with the latest physical therapy practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will encounter diverse patient demographics, including active adults, seniors, and athletes, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to facilitate their recovery and improve their overall functionality. Your expertise will be critical in assessing their needs and crafting effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, ideally in outpatient settings.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic assessment and treatment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to develop rapport with patients and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities.
  • Exposure to geriatric physical therapy practices and an understanding of age-related considerations in rehabilitation.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation requirements in a clinical setting.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package with an annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, depending on experience, plus potential bonuses.
