Location: Orlando FL, 32817
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Shift: 8am-5pm
Status: Temp 12 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall responsibility for the execution of electrical engineering in our projects - securing the fulfillment of customer contracts and related specifications.
• Leading the electrical execution team in close cooperation and communication with the project engineering manager and general project management as well as with other relevant stakeholders (e.g., your line manager)
• Managing and monitoring of our internal and external suppliers including handling of the electrical, I&C and related layout interfaces
• Project reporting regarding engineering progress, technical clarifications and engineering risks or opportunities
• Implementation, steering and control of the electrical design process with focus on related concepts, technical specification preparation and BoQs
• Identification and proactive managing of risks, opportunities, and claims
• Monitoring of on time delivery of all deliverables, quality and electrical engineering hour consumption and ensuring our EHS standards are met.
• Supporting the construction site during installation and commissioning to solve upcoming problems
• Supporting to identify and minimize non-conformances costs (NCC's)
REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management or related fields
• +8 years' Experience in managing the electrical engineering of large Power Plants, Datacenters or HVDC or Substation projects
• Strong Technical knowledge in Electrical Power Systems, Motor Control Centers, MV and LV Switchgears, Transformers, Converters, Rectifiers Single Line and Three Line Diagrams etc
• Experience in project management and/or managing of intercultural teams.
• Advanced experience in execution of solution projects (proposal and execution phase)
• Knowledge regarding HVDC transmission is an advantage.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in one or more State of USA are an advantage.
• Advanced English language skills, Spanish language skills are an advantage.
• Advanced experience in intercultural collaboration and cooperation with international clients, consortium partners and suppliers
• Proactive communication and good coordination skills
