Job description

Dean Carter Chevrolet has a position available for a motivated and experienced Automotive BDC Representative to lead our dealership’s customer engagement and appointment-setting operations. This role is critical to driving showroom traffic, improving lead conversion, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across phone, text, email, and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inbound and outbound customer communications (calls, texts, emails, internet leads)
  • Set, track, and improve appointment show rates and sales conversion
  • Develop and enforce BDC scripts, processes, and best practices
  • Monitor CRM activity to ensure timely and accurate follow-up
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports 
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Service Teams
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Previous BDC or Internet Sales management experience in automotive (required)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to drive results through process and accountability
  • CRM experience (e.g., Elead, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
