INTERNET SALES & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGER (BDC MANAGER)

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi, a family-owned and operated automotive dealership for over 16 years, is hiring an experienced Internet Sales & Customer Experience Manager (BDC Manager) to lead our Business Development Center (BDC). This hands-on leadership role manages automotive internet sales leads, CRM accountability, customer follow-up, appointment setting, and the daily performance of our BDC team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development Center (BDC) team.
• Manage automotive internet sales leads, phone leads, chat leads, OEM leads, and third-party leads.
• Schedule, confirm, and follow up on customer appointments.
• Ensure every lead receives prompt, professional follow-up.
• Maintain CRM accuracy, customer notes, tasks, and follow-up schedules.
• Ensure all leads are worked according to dealership standards and CRM activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Audit lead handling and coach employees on communication, appointment setting, and lead management.
• Monitor response times, appointment show rates, lead conversion, and overall BDC performance.
• Partner with Sales Managers to improve lead conversion and the customer experience.
• Train new team members on dealership processes, CRM usage, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Automotive BDC, Business Development Center, Internet Sales, Internet Manager, Automotive CRM, or Automotive Sales Management.
• Experience managing automotive sales leads from initial contact through appointment scheduling and follow-up.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience using eLead CRM (Elead CRM) or other dealership CRM systems is required.
• Strong understanding of automotive lead management, customer follow-up, appointment setting, CRM accountability, and dealership sales processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
