Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy, and ethical Automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our vehicle sales, securing competitive financing and leasing options for our guests, and offering extended service contracts and ancillary protection products.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of dealership financial operations, maintain strong relationships with primary and secondary lending institutions, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to federal, state, and local compliance.  Having sales manager desking experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Services & Product Presentation: Assist guests in securing financing or leasing programs; present a comprehensive menu of F&I products including extended service contracts, GAP protection, road hazard, and environmental packages.
  • Lender Relations: Maintain and expand excellent working relationships with manufacturer captive lenders, national banks, local credit unions, and subprime lending institutions to secure optimal deal structures.
  • Deal Structuring & Funding: Review and structure deals for maximum profitability and compliance; ensure all legal contracts and loan securements are completed accurately and submitted for rapid funding.
  • Compliance Management: Maintain strict adherence to all consumer financial protection regulations, including Red Flags, Safeguards Rule, OFAC, Truth in Lending, and fair lending practices.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Managers and the sales consulting team to seamlessly transition guests from the showroom floor to the finance office, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills. Extreme attention to detail regarding legal documentation and compliance.
  • Education/Background: High school diploma or equivalent required (College degree preferred). Must be able to pass a background check, credit check, and drug screening.
