Job description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is looking for an extremely organized, detail-oriented and high-energy Recruiting Coordinator to help support our hiring efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to learn quickly about the recruiting process at a fast-growing company. In this role, you will work side by side with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and peers across teams within IXL to help ensure that we hire the best individuals to work toward our mission.
This position requires you to be in our San Mateo, CA, headquarters office.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Partner with our recruiting team to deeply understand and support hiring needs
  • Host and manage onsite interview candidates while they are in the office
  • Schedule a high volume of candidate interviews in a timely and consistent manner, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Become an expert on IXL Learning to answer questions from candidates about our products, positions and company culture
  • Efficiently manage and track candidates through the recruiting pipeline while providing a great candidate experience from source to hire
  • Ensure candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS) are organized and up-to-date
  • Eagerly respond to candidate inquiries via phone and email
  • Work with our recruiting team and hiring managers to refine our recruiting process
  • Provide general support to the recruiting team by assisting with projects as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Experience as a recruiting coordinator (highly preferred), HR coordinator or in an administrative support role
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to go above and beyond what is required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to cultivate great relationships with stakeholders and team members
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience working with an ATS (ours is Greenhouse) and G Suite preferred
  • Passionate about education and technology

The base hourly rate for this full-time position is $25 - $31 per hour + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
