What is edtech recruiting?

Edtech Recruiting refers to the process of identifying, attracting, and hiring professionals for roles within the educational technology sector. This includes recruiting talent for companies that develop educational software, digital learning tools, and technology-driven educational services. Edtech recruiters typically look for candidates with a mix of education, technology, and business skills, depending on the specific role. The aim is to match the best candidates with positions that support the growth and innovation of educational technology.

To thrive as an Edtech Recruiter, you need a strong background in talent acquisition, knowledge of the education technology sector, and experience with candidate sourcing and evaluation. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and digital assessment tools is typically required. Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships are vital soft skills in this field.
