High School ELA Teacher at Bayaan Academy Job Overview The Bayaan Academy Teacher will deliver quality instruction to students in a virtual learning environment. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive online classroom culture, assessing student progress, and focusing on student tarbiyah and akhlaq both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive, standards‐based lesson plans for high school ELA.

Adapt curriculum materials for online delivery, incorporating multimedia, interactive elements, and real‐world applications. Conduct live online classes using video conferencing and other virtual platforms. Utilize effective online teaching strategies to engage students and promote a collaborative learning environment.

Design and administer assessments to measure student understanding and progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments, assessments, and participation. Offer virtual office hours for individualized support and assistance.

Collaborate with parents and guardians to address student concerns and provide updates on academic performance. Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive online classroom environment; enforce classroom rules and expectations. Utilize educational technology tools and platforms to enhance the online learning experience and guide students.

Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate with staff to share resources and strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a virtual setting.
