Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented EDI Specialist to support the daily operations of our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. In this role, youโ€™ll help ensure smooth and accurate data exchange between internal teams, customers, and vendors. Youโ€™ll monitor transactions, maintain data integrity, support customer onboarding, and help troubleshoot EDI-related issues. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data accuracy, and cross-team collaboration. Training will be provided, and familiarity with EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce is a plus.

  • Monitor inbound and outbound EDI transactions to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain and validate data accuracy across EDI systems and related platforms.
  • Map customer/vendor relationships to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Assist with onboarding new customers into the EDI system.
  • Support setup, testing, and maintenance of trading partner connections.
  • Troubleshoot EDI issues and coordinate with internal teams such as Order Management and Warehouse Operations.
  • Provide professional and timely support to internal departments, vendors, and customers
  • Maintain documentation on partner configurations, mappings, and EDI processes.
  • Build knowledge of EDI documents (e.g., 850, 856, 940, 945).
  • Learn EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce.
  • Gain exposure to basic SQL and reporting tools
Requirements:
  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in order entry, data entry, EDI, order management, or technical support.
  • Familiarity with SPS Commerce or other EDI providers preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and support internal/external customers.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Clifton, NJ.

Work Environment

  • Office setting with occasional exposure to factory and warehouse environments.
  • Extended periods of computer work required.
  • Facility may handle allergens such as peanuts and tree nuts.
