Job Title: EDI Analyst

Introduction

The EDI Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations across the organization''s enterprise technology ecosystem. This role works closely with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, and trading partners to ensure seamless B2B connectivity and data accuracy across supply chain, finance, logistics, and order management functions.

ResponsibilitiesERP Integration Support
  • Collaborate with third-party system implementors and internal teams to support ERP environments including Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 F&O, and Oracle Fusion.
  • Assist in ERP integration activities connecting systems such as CRM, WMS, TMS, eCommerce, and financial platforms.
  • Support ERP transformation initiatives including system upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.
  • Ensure ERP data and workflows align with key business processes including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and Financial Operations.
EDI Integration & B2B Connectivity
  • Support and maintain EDI solutions and B2B integrations with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and financial institutions.
  • Work with EDI standards including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT and protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and API-based integrations.
  • Support integrations utilizing the TrueCommerce EDI platform, including configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate mapping between ERP data structures and EDI transaction sets.
  • Assist in onboarding new trading partners and ensure compliance with EDI transaction requirements.
  • Perform EDI mapping, testing, monitoring, and error resolution processes on an ongoing basis.
Operations & Issue Resolution
  • Monitor EDI transaction queues and resolve errors, exceptions, and failed transmissions in a timely manner.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring integration failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of EDI maps, trading partner configurations, and integration workflows.
  • Coordinate with internal business teams (supply chain, finance, operations) to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support and act as a point of contact for EDI-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
RequirementsRequired
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in EDI analysis, integration, or a related role.
  • Working knowledge of EDI standards including ANSI X12 transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 997, etc.) and EDIFACT.
  • Experience with EDI communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, VAN, and/or API-based methods.
  • Hands-on experience with TrueCommerce EDI platform or comparable EDI middleware (SPS Commerce, DiCentral, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 F&O, or Oracle Fusion.
  • Ability to perform EDI mapping and troubleshoot data translation issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting supply chain, order management, or logistics business processes.
  • Exposure to integrations with WMS, TMS, CRM, or eCommerce platforms.
  • Basic understanding of API/REST integrations in an enterprise context.
  • Experience supporting ERP migrations or system modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data querying and validation.

Work Environment: This is an office-based or hybrid role depending on organizational policy. The EDI Analyst may be required to participate in occasional off-hours support activities to accommodate trading partner testing windows or system maintenance schedules.
