Job Title: Senior Account Executive

Location: Roslyn, NY 11576 (FT On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview:

A growing fashion/apparel company is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage and grow key department store and boutique accounts. This role will work closely with major retailers (including a leading national department store) and support specialty boutique partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in wholesale sales, reporting, and EDI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow business with major retail accounts and specialty boutiques.
  • Work closely with major department stores, including a prominent national retailer, to drive sales and achieve seasonal targets.
  • Read, interpret, and analyze retail and sales reports to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Utilize EDI for order processing, replenishment, and account management.
  • Support planning activities, including sales forecasting, assortment planning, and inventory management in partnership with internal teams and retail partners.
  • Prepare and present sales recaps, business reviews, and action plans.
  • Partner with merchandising, production, and operations to ensure timely deliveries and strong in-store / online execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with buyers, planners, and boutique owners.
  • Travel to market appointments, account meetings, and store visits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive in wholesale fashion/apparel, accessories, or a related consumer product category.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret sales, inventory, and performance reports.
  • Hands-on experience with EDI.
  • Experience with planning, forecasting, and partnering with retail planners is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with major retail accounts and boutiques.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
