YOUR IMPACT
The Senior Technical Analyst performs as a subject matter expert to support OpenText Professional Services implementations. They must have the ability to interpret business process requirements and produce technical specifications, project documentation and coordinate development activities with global development teams. This is a customer-facing role and requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects. As the lead analyst on projects, the Senior Technical Analyst also provides overall leadership to analyst and mapping teams by setting priorities, technical direction, and ensuring consistent quality deliverables and best practices are followed.
YOU ARE GREAT AT
- Interpret business requirements and produce technical specifications for map development
- Work cross-functionally to define implementation design and functional requirements
- Provide consulting services to customers on mapping correlations based on EDI / Electronic Commerce best practices
- Provide consulting services to customers on business application requirements for EDI / Electronic Commerce
- Provide leadership to mapping and analyst teams on best practices and methodologies
- Review project deliverables for technical consistency and approve prior to client review
- Train and mentor junior analysts and map developers
- Work on multiple large, complex projects
- Consult with customers on integration with OpenText products
- Establish priorities and assign work to analysis and mapping teams
- Assist in identifying and resolving issues during testing phases
- Provide status reports and escalate issues to Project Managers
- Manage project schedules and requirements
- Up to 5% travel may be required
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
- Eight years EDI / EC / B2B experience as an EDI business analyst
- Knowledge of GXS AI mapping requirements or equivalent tools
- Experience with X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and XML
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership ability
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with OpenText tools and services
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience

Salary Range: $76,790 - $126,155; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
