Job description

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled SQL & C Developer with experience in the healthcare domain to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems and services that support healthcare applications, ensuring high performance, security, and data integrity. This role requires strong development skills in C, SQL, and experience working with healthcare data standards and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, EDI transactions, or FHIR). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and reliable solutions that drive real-world healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications and services using C and .NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 6+ preferred).
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
Design, implement, and support relational database structures (SQL Server or similar).
Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Work on the integration of external healthcare systems, APIs, and data feeds (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EDI 27x).
Ensure application security, performance, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and deployment planning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on experience in C/.NET development.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
Experience working in the healthcare domain, including familiarity with claims, eligibility, or EHR/EMR systems.
Understanding of data security and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
