Job description

We are looking for an organized and motivated Customer Service Representative to join the Dakine Equipment Customer Service team. This role serves as the foundation for developing future Customer Service Account Representatives by building knowledge of order management, customer support, systems, and cross-functional processes. The CSR will support assigned customer accounts, assist with order management activities, and partner with experienced CS team members to develop the skills necessary to manage customer accounts independently.

What You'll Do: 

Customer & Account Support

  • Support assigned customer accounts and sales territories with day-to-day customer service needs.
  • Respond to customer and sales representative inquiries with timely and accurate communication.
  • Build relationships with customers, sales reps, and internal partners.

Order Management Development

  • Assist with order entry, maintenance, and order updates.
  • Learn and support EDI customer processes.
  • Assist with customer order holds, returns, and credit requests.
  • Monitor order status and escalate issues when needed.
  • Partner with CSR II and Senior CSR team members on complex order challenges.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Sales, Distribution, Finance, AR, and Operations teams.
  • Assist with troubleshooting shipment delays, pricing questions, and order issues.
  • Develop knowledge of Dakine products, sales programs, and customer processes.

Process & Team Support

  • Maintain accurate customer and order documentation.
  • Support reporting and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with warranty support and consumer inquiries as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and development activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
