For our World Triathlon Corporation d/b/a The IRONMAN Group in Tampa, Florida  we are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Ecommerce Director.

The IRONMAN Group is seeking an Ecommerce Director with proven eCommerce experience to own eCommerce, registration platform, B2B and other merchandise channel specific revenue opportunities. This role will be focused on enhancing product assortments, best practices, and customer experience to drive revenue growth in these channels. This role requires a hands-on manager, someone driving strategy and day-to-day coordination across merchandise sales channels. 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

  • Own channel specific merchandising strategies across eCommerce, registration platform, and B2B merchandise sales channels. Identify the most suitable products based on location, target customer, and timing to drive merchandise revenue and conversion.  
  • Determine product mix. Determine the optimal product mix to meet customer needs and maximize sales. This includes product variety, pricing, and inventory levels. 
  • Assist with weekly sales performance analysis to identify areas of opportunity.  
  • Work cross-functionally with product development and planning teams to ensure execution and follow through on channel specific product strategies. 
  • Set and maintain Consumer Experience Standards across channels including visual merchandising, copy, imagery, and marketing assets. 
  • Partner with marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies across digital platforms including paid and organic campaigns. 
  • Manage day-to-day eCommerce experience across all eCommerce channels conducting site walkthroughs to discover any errors, amend and manage issues. 
  • Provide thought leadership, innovation, and process optimization initiatives to enhance channel specific merchandise strategies. 
  • Partner with IT and service teams to develop technical features necessary to achieve results including endless aisle level of service.  
  • Oversee merchandise customer service assisting with thoughtful and meaningful responses to our customers, monitoring response time and team productivity.  
  • Responsible for regional rollout across North America, EMEA, & Oceania. 
  • Proven team player with ability to coach and manage direct reports. 
  • Any other tasks or special projects as assigned. 

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team

We're looking for someone who doesn't just tick boxes, but thrives in our fast-paced, global environment. Ideally, you have:

Education and work experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years eCommerce Merchandising experience in a similar role 
  • Experience in Marketing is also beneficial. 
  • Experience with Magento, and Shopify eCommerce, and other Merchandise systems. 

Skills and knowledge:

  • Knowledge and experience with Magento and Shopify eCommerce platforms. 
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office. 
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and integrations. 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented 
  • Project Management experience 
  • Strong Team Player 
  • Ability to lead a team. 
  • Understanding of web analytics
