The Assistant eCommerce Merchandiser supports Southern Tide's digital business by helping execute product setup, site merchandising, and outfitting across the eCommerce experience. In partnership with the Senior eCommerce Merchandiser, this role ensures products are launched accurately and on time, PDPs are compelling and brand-right, and the site is merchandised to support product discovery, storytelling, and conversion. This role works cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Inventory, and Product teams to support seasonal launches and ongoing site optimization.
This role is in office, and located in Southern Tide's Greenville, SC Headquarters.
Crew Position:
• Assist with PDP setup and ongoing maintenance in Shopify, ensuring imagery, descriptions, pricing, product details, categorization, and attribute content are accurate and brand aligned.
• Partner with the Senior eCommerce Merchandiser and cross-functional teams to gather product assets, track product readiness, and support timely product launches.
• Support site merchandising across collections, landing pages, and search results to optimize product discovery and featured placement.
• Assist with outfitting, cross-selling, and related-product recommendations to create compelling product stories and encourage product discovery.
• Help execute site updates related to new product launches, campaigns, promotions, and seasonal transitions.
• Assist with testing PDPs, site search, navigation, filters, and merchandising displays to ensure an accurate and seamless customer experience.
• Monitor product availability and inventory in partnership with the Inventory team, helping identify and resolve discrepancies or launch issues.
• Assist with the execution and maintenance of PLP features, including visual filters, headers, promotional messaging, and content blocks to support product storytelling and initiatives.
• Monitor key site and product performance metrics to understand merchandising effectiveness and support optimization opportunities.
• Provide additional support for eCommerce initiatives and site enhancements as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; Shopify experience preferred.
• Interest in eCommerce operations, retail, and digital merchandising.
• Collaborative, proactive communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
