Qualifications
eLearning Developer for short contract.
eLearning Developer needs:
- 7+ years of Instructional Design experience
- Strong background in multimedia development
- Expert in the below tools: o Camtasia Studio 9 o Lectora 16 or 17 o Captivate 8 or 9 o Photoshop CC / Snagit 13
- Proficient in below tools:
- Excel o Word o PPT o WebEx o (Jive) (preferred but not required)
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective learning solutions
- Professional writing skills, including writing effective instructional text, audio scripts and video scripts
- Professional communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Has strong graphic design skills
- Must be self-managed and able to respond quickly
- Some
understanding of technical customer services activities, software
development and Cloud solutions (preferred but not required)
eLearning Developer duties:
- Course design
- Interview SMEs for input goals, outcomes, objectives, format, content, etc.
Create a scenario based course using various medias incorporated into
Lectora including: o Demos/Videos o Checklists o Animated segments o
Knowledge Checks/Validation o Activities/tasks for students to complete
using a test environment based upon their role- Conduct course pilot, including incorporating appropriate feedback
- University, Connections, Wiki, SharePoint, etc.
- Provide instructions for maintaining/making updates to the deliverable
