We are currently recruiting for an Import Export Analyst, HTS Classifications.
What you will do in the position:
  • Reviews shipping records, customs entries, and commercial invoices to determine duty drawback eligibility and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compiles supporting documentation, calculates potential refunds, and submits claims to customs authorities accurately and timely.
  • Stays current on U.S. Customs and international trade regulations to ensure claims meet all legal standards and reduce compliance risks.
  • Collaborates with logistics, finance, and compliance teams to streamline claim processes and resolves discrepancies or documentation gaps.
  • Organizes and updates records of all drawback-related activities and generates reports to track performance and recovery metrics.

What you will need to succeed:
  • Understanding of HTS Classifications and Duty Drawback: Knowledge of the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) duty drawback program and its various components.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as those related to import/export procedures, HTS codes, and valuation.
  • Strong Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and calculate refund amounts.

The posted pay range, $68,640 - $86,000, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
