Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA's Corporate Logistics organization is seeking a seasoned Trade Operations Analyst to join the Trade Operations team within the Freight and Trade Operations Team. This career-level individualcontributoris responsible forthe day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of KLA's U.S. trade operations - including customs compliance, duty drawback, and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations - while bringing a strong data-analytics capability to the function.Working on problems of diverse scope, the analyst evaluates trade data,identifiesduty-savings and process-improvement opportunities, and ensures KLA's import/export activityremainsfully compliant with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with GTC, Finance, Freight, Regional Logistics, customs brokers, and external partners, andoperateswith limited day-to-day supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Operations

  • Execute daily U.S. customs operations and ensure import/export activitycomplies withCBP regulations and applicable U.S. trade laws.

  • Oversee customs broker management and brokerselection,maintainthe brokerage handbook and SOPs, and audit broker entries for accuracy.

  • Maintain records-retention practices and audit-ready documentation for internal, CBP, and CTPAT reviews.

  • Administer KLA's duty drawback programs (U.S. and international) to maximize duty recovery and cost savings.

  • Prepare duty and drawback forecasts, reconcile claims, and support post-entry reconciliation and refund tracking.

  • Partner with Finance and brokers tovalidatedrawback data, filings, and supporting documentation.

  • Support FTZ operations including admissions, withdrawals, and inventory trackingin accordance withCBP and FTZ Board requirements.

  • Data analysis:Analyze trade, duty, and shipment data toidentifytrends, compliance risks, and duty-savings and process-improvement opportunities.

  • Reporting & dashboards:Build and maintain KPIs, metrics, and dashboards (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) to give leadership visibility into trade operations performance.

  • Insight to action:Translate analysis into recommendations, and support automation andcontinuous improvementof trade processes.

  • Coordinate with GTC, Finance, Freight Logistics, Regional Logistics, and external partners (brokers, forwarders, CBP).

  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate business impacts; recommend and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with a bachelor'sdegree;or 3 years with amaster'sdegree;or aPhD;or equivalent work experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in international business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in trade operations, customs/trade compliance, customs brokerage, or import/export operations.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. Customs (CBP) regulations, FTZ requirements, and duty drawback.

  • Data analytics (required):Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and hands-on experience turning trade data into reports, dashboards, and insights (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, and/or SQL).

  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with high attention to detail and an audit-ready mindset.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision on problems of diverse scope, exercising sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP GTS (or comparable global trade management systems) and ERP trade data.

  • Experience with FTZ inventory/management and duty drawback software (e.g., ICRS, Integration Point).

  • Semiconductor, high-tech, or capital-equipment industry trade experience.

  • Experience with process automation and advanced analytics for trade orsupply chaindata.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
