Job description

Key contributor in Financial Reporting supporting Duty activities for Supply Chain. Responsible for moderately complex activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger, and the resulting managerial reports and financial statements. Close process includes numerous journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis in a compressed time period. Reports to Manager, with no direct reports.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Support VS Customs team in filing all Supply Chain related Duty Drawback and FTZ analysis
  • Monthly journal entries related to duty, duty drawback, and cash
  • Reconcile duty payments and all related duty accounts
  • Serve as the point of contact for Ernst and Young audits on all duty activity
  • Reconcile VS Supply Chain cash accounts
  • Load flash on a monthly basis
  • Create analytical tools to evaluate appropriateness of the duty accrual in the balance sheet
  • Perform multiple monthly account reconciliations
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate 10-K and tax package schedules and ensure adherence to imposed deadlines.

  • Bachelors' degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years public accounting experience preferred
  • Excel proficiency required, as well as functional knowledge of other Microsoft products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP, and CPA or MBA a plus
