Count Team Supervisor - Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko
The Count Team Supervisor will oversee soft count personnel with the primary role of observing and ensuring that all gaming requirements are met for drop and count for multiple properties.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Supervise Soft Count team comprised of 2 -10 team members.
• Coordinate schedules and maintain proper staffing.
• Step in and perform drop and count functions when necessary.
• Maintain count room equipment.
• Ensure the integrity of the soft count and drop.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations for drop and count.
• Ongoing training on gaming regulations.
• Perform related and/or other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience with cash handling.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada State Gaming Card.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED :
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass basic math test.
• On feet or standing 100% of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow directions thoroughly.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize and organize.
• Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
• Ability to understand guest's service needs.
• High level of concentration to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to interface effectively and work cohesively with co-workers in a small space.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary for completion of regulatory forms.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works early morning shifts, including weekend and holidays.
The Count Team Supervisor will report to the Assistant Controller.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment. Must be able to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time, speak and hear, write, finger and feel, lift and carry up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) and occasionally more. Employee frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and endure variable temperature conditions (extreme hot or cold). Must be 21 years of age or older.
