Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fleet & Compliance Coordinator located in Rotterdam, NY. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting vehicle audits, analyzing compliance data, and developing strategies to optimize fleet management.

  • Coordination with Operations Managers and Transportation Supervisors to maintain and track DOT/regulatory compliance
  • Assist  EHS and Transportation leadership with regard to strategies to build a culture of safety within the transportation organization
  • Assist with fleet management and reporting, including accurate tracking of all fleet, registrations, and maintenance
  • Assists management in investigating transportation related accidents and injuries and works with management to prepare necessary materials and evidence for use in hearings, lawsuits and insurance investigations
  • Assist with mock DOT compliance audits, institute site self-inspection protocols
  • Assist with management of roadside inspection process
  • Partner with EHS, P&O, and operational leadership to develop safety policies and programs.
  • Assist in maintaining company related driver tools and systems 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in fleet management, compliance, or a related industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of documentation, deadlines, and vehicle/driver records with a high level of accuracy and organization.
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry required
  • Valid state issued driver’s license with safe driving record
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret fleet data and identify areas for improvement
  • Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders
  • Expertise in conducting Auditing activities to monitor and verify compliance
  • Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office suite preferred
