Job description

PACIFIC COAST BUILDING SERVICES, INC. IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR A

DOT COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

 

POSITION TYPE:      Full-Time, Hourly

LOCATION:               Sacramento, CA

WAGE SCALE:          $26.00-$29.00

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Monitoring driver qualification and processing driving records.
  • Monitoring driver development (training, driver fitness, etc.)
  • Oversight of GPS & dash camera systems to maximize safety (ex: GPS reports, driver safety scores, etc.)
  • Monitor FMCSA performance and address specific violations with affected branches.
  • Assist branches with programs to perform periodic vehicle inspections and required smoke testing.
  • Assist in monitoring all aspects of DOT compliance (logbooks, hours of service, etc.)
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment information in CARB databases (DOORS, TRUCRS, CTC)
  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes and support improvement projects (ex: electrification, dash cams, etc.)
  • Assist with contractor's equipment projects (permitting, inspections, GPS tracking, etc.)
  • Track and monitor permits and registrations (DOT certification statements, hazardous materials registrations, MCP #, etc.)
  • Understand and oversee trip permits, IRP, IFTA, dual state registration, etc.
  • Responsible for periodic reporting on fleet safety and compliance items.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fleet support role
  • Working knowledge of DOT and CARB regulations
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent reading, comprehension, and communication skills
