Position Summary
Join a missiondriven team that plays a vital role in supporting Centrus' operations and regulatory commitments. As the Records Management & Document Control (RMDC) Manager, you'll lead a highperforming team responsible for the lifecycle of both classified and unclassified documents that support operations, engineering, maintenance, training, procurement, and construction activities.

In this role, you'll shape the strategy, structure, and daily operation of the RMDC program-ensuring accurate, secure, and compliant handling of essential records. You'll collaborate with internal partners, interface with regulatory agencies, and serve as the subject matter expert who strengthens the organization's information governance framework.

What You'll Do

  Lead and mentor a team of RMDC Specialists, setting clear objectives and fostering professional growth.
Participate in candidate selection and onboarding through training plans, coaching, and handson guidance.
Build, implement, and continuously improve RMDC processes, workflows, and procedures.
Oversee the full lifecycle of controlled documents, approved forms, and records across multiple programs and regulatory frameworks.
Serve as the goto expert for document/records handling practices required by NRC, DOE, and other regulatory bodies.
Train employees across HQ and OR locations on Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Support field teams with proper loading, classification, and control of documents in the ACP EDMS.
Author, interpret, and maintain departmental procedures and policies, ensuring clarity and compliance.
Ensure proper management of classified records, including periodic inventory of controlled materials.
Act as the primary RMDC contact during NRC/DOE inspections and audits.
Lead RMDC program assessments and drive corrective action where needed.
Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support internal stakeholders.
Perform EDMS administrative functions and collaborate with IT on system improvements.
Develop statements of work, manage vendor relationships, and monitor RMDC budget performance.
Oversee classified document mailing procedures and RMDC responsibilities under DOE contract requirements.
Lead special projects and other assignments that advance RMDC operations.

What You Bring

Proven experience supervising people, processes, or projects.
The ability to interpret policies and regulations and translate them into practical, effective workflows.
Must possess (or be able to obtain) an NRC "Q" level security clearance.
Associate degree or equivalent experience.
4-6 years of RMDC or closely related experience, including at least two years supporting ACP or similar regulated programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience supporting records/document control in a regulated environment.

Additional technical training or an Associate degree in a related field.

Experience with Microsoft Access.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.  Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made.  In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government.  Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
