Job description

MGL US Logistics is an innovative logistics and transportation solutions provider that is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Inventory Control Lead to add to our growing team! We’re looking for a detail-driven team player to help keep our operations accurate, efficient, and running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be at the center of inventory accuracy, process improvement, and cross-department coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Perform cycle counts; identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Conduct physical inventory per client request
  • Communicate with shipping, warehouse, and kitting team and returns about inventory issues
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels on our WMS system
  • Report inventory accuracy status to management
  • Must be attentive to any email inquiries: stock variances, dock/location searches; adjustment request
  • Monitor replenishment tasks on our WMS system and ensure stock is available for picking an order
  • Execute quarantine and/or destruction of product when directed
  • Ensure all product receipts are tagged properly
  • Ensure all racking is labelled correctly
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide feedback to manager on the operations and employees
  • Maintain warehouse sanitation practices; clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
  • Assumes additional related responsibilities as required

EXPERIENCE


  • 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in a warehouse
  • BlueYonder experience is preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Prior experience using warehouse management systems

EDUCATION

WORKING CONDITIONS



  • Must be able to commute to work daily
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when required
  • Able to lift, on average, up to 50 lbs., repetitively and safely
  • Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
  • Works on the warehouse floor, walking and standing where the noise level is moderate to loud
  • Exposure to temperature variations in the warehouse
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required, for the duration of the workday to sit or stand at workstation, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms
