Job description

Job title: Documents Specialist II

Duration : 06-12 months contract (with possibility of extension)

Location: Westlake, OH (Hybrid)

Payrate: $28-32 per hr. On w2 without benefit/holidays/vacations

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days/week in office and 2 days/week in remote

Job Brief

This temporary role supports the HSSE Risk Systems team by managing, updating, and maintaining OMS‐controlled documents. The position focuses on document lifecycle control, ensuring compliance with OMS requirements, version governance, and alignment with HSSE risk frameworks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the management of OMS-controlled documents, including creation, updates, revisions, and archiving.
  • Ensure all controlled documents meet OMS formatting, numbering, and content standards.
  • Coordinate with document owners, SMEs, and stakeholders to gather required updates and verify accuracy.
  • Maintain version control and track changes within the controlled document system.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for reviews and HSSE compliance assessments.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure consistency and alignment with HSSE Risk Systems requirements.
  • Support process improvements for document workflows and governance.
  • Generate reports related to document status, overdue reviews, and approval progress.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 yrs experience in similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent document tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with SharePoint or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‐functional teams.
