As a Content Writer and Editor, you are attentive, analytical, helpful and efficient. You possess excellent written skills, attention to detail and accuracy. You maintain on-brand language and messaging and you have strong written and oral communications skills.
As a results-driven and self-motivated individual, you are able to juggle multiple high-priority tasks at once. Your colleagues know you can easily dive into the details to crank out tasks and small projects yourself.

About the Job
We are looking for a gospel-centered, results-driven and detail-oriented Content Writer/Editor to join our team. This full time position will operate out of our headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio or remotely and will focus on editing and creating written content, ensuring accuracy and on-brand messaging.
Responsibilities
  • Write and edit content for internal and external publications and communications
  • Contribute to the writing and editing of LifeWise curriculum and supplemental content
  • Complete a variety of writing projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborate effectively with other writers and team members
  • Provide customer support for language components
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of the knowledge base (Salesforce)
  • Maintain process documentation

Qualifications
  • A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with and effectively communicate with users of all levels of knowledge and skill
  • Adept at refining written materials for clarity and consistency
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands

Salary and Benefits
